This Week's Schedule

So, I received a text from our PM earlier today, and he proceeds to lay out this week's schedule...here goes:

Today: Continuing to dig
Tuesday: Forming concrete forms
Wednesday: Pouring footers
Thursday: ...he didn't mention... :-/
Friday: Pouring Walls
Saturday: Plumbers will be around for the sewers...

Aah! Is this really happening?! The thought of owning a home--let alone, building a NEW home--feels a little surreal.  I can't wait to see the progress! Jay and I are going to drive by on Wednesday evening to take pics.

  3. Schedule sounds solid. Our PM would send us info via email only if I asked, but he was pretty detailed. Good to hear that he is sending you info. :)

  4. @Chelly--so far, I think our PM is great. He has been great as far as keeping us in the loop, and initiating dialogue with us. When we met at the pre-construction mtg, his BlackBerry and cell phone were going off like crazy! He let us know from the beginning that it's ok to txt as well. I'm a HUGE text person, so that made me happy :)

  6. After they get the list done above there will be a couple of inspections that they have to get thru...don't be discouraged if nothing happens for a couple of days...once the framing starts, don't blink or you will miss something!!!

  7. @BD LOL, I had no idea that there will be inspections in between phases--that's a good thing I guess...in case they need to correct anything, they'll be able to. I'm just waiting for the Pre Dry-wall Mtg...I'm ready to move in!

  8. Hi J&D we seem to be just a few steps ahead of you all so we are running neck and neck. Your community looks so familiar almost like the one down the street were I live now. Are you all Marylanders?

  9. I swear you all are going to be right down the street near the Metro and the Safeway. Either way nice to meet you!
